Point Mobile PM452 – an ultra-rugged keypad terminal with scanning range of up to 29 metres

Two battery capacities and Hot-Swap. The PM452 is available with either a standard 4,000 mAh battery or an extended 5,700 mAh battery. A 60 mAh backup battery supports Hot-Swap functionality, allowing the main battery to be replaced without restarting the terminal.

High performance. The Android 13 operating system is planned to support upgrades up to Android 18. A 2.2 GHz octa-core processor is paired with either 4 GB / 64 GB or 6 GB / 128 GB memory configurations.

Scanning from close range to very long distances. Three 1D/2D scan engines are available, including flexible-range and extended-range options. The longest-range configuration can read barcodes from distances of up to approximately 29 metres.

Built for demanding environments. The PM452 features IP67 and IP65 protection, withstands drops from 2 metres at room temperature and 1.8 metres across its full operating temperature range. The device has also been tested for 1,000 tumbles from a height of 1 metre.

Convenient operation and keypad options. The 4.3-inch Gorilla Glass IPS display can be combined with different keypad layouts, including numeric, alphanumeric and function-numeric options. This allows the terminal to be precisely adapted to specific warehouse workflows.

Modern connectivity. Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and LTE ensure fast data transmission. The PM452 is especially well suited for intensive warehousing, manufacturing and logistics centres where long-range scanning is essential.
